Google has finally launched the Google Analytics app for iPhone and iPod Touch. The app  has been launched two years after the launch of the beta version of the mobile app. It provides the same data on your mobile device which is available at the web dashboard like visits, page views, sources and user behavior insights.

The new app is compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad but has been optimized for iPhone 5. The app requires the devices to run on iOS 6.0 or higher versions.

New Features

With the real time analytics feature in the new app, website operators can get at-a-glance information on their site’s current activity directly on their iOS devices. All the information is now available on their fingertips helping them to view information on the go. The real time reports allow monitoring the data and site activity as it takes place.

However, users complained a few glitches were experienced on downloading the app. After successfully adding accounts an error message is received saying there was an error while trying to retrieve Google Analytics accounts. Hopefully, users will soon experience swiftness in the app.
