Google has started a novel marketing campaign named Google Outside under which it has deployed 160 digital displays at Underground stations and bus stops across London.

The electronic displays will offer "local search" information on entertainment, businesses, and tourist attractions. The Google Now technology is involved behind the campaign and a huge Google Now-like card is occupying the display. A spokesperson from Google said, "screens that will anticipate people’s needs and make their lives easier".

Google has not clarified the duration of the campaign but it is surely to get attention and create buzz. Depending upon the success, Google Outside campaign will be taken to other cities as well.
