Google has launched Primer, the iOS app that helps start-ups with their marketing efforts. Referred to as a no-nonsense and jargon-free application, it offers a very basic primer for the businesses that are trying to negotiate in the online marketing world.

On the app's companion website, Google explained "We realize that some of the Google ad-tech products which connect businesses to customers also widen the gap between rookies and marketing pros. We want to fix this".

Google has teamed up with industry experts for creating tips, case studies, and interactive quizzes that will guide the user on the basics of how to use digital tools to connect with the customer. Content Marketing, PR & Media, and Search Advertising are the three topics being currently covered and Google has promised to come up with more in future.

Since, all the content is available offline also, the application can be used in spare moment. It is currently available only for iOS and Android version will be coming soon.
