Google has launched Zavers, a digital coupon solution enabling manufacturers and retailers to reward loyal customers. A real-time solution, it will offer new ways to analyze consumer preferences and measure coupon redemptions, assisting them in tailoring campaigns, managing distribution and optimizing budgets.
Zavers provides access to an extensive network of coupons, opening up new revenue streams. Shoppers can now find discounts available on their favorite online retail stores and save the coupons to their accounts. They shop for the products and check out as usual. Savings are automatically deducted at checkout. No scanning or sorting is required.
Manufacturers need to pay only when a product is sold. They will also gain visibility into the path to purchase, manage distribution efficiently and prevent fraud. Retailers will benefit from increased transaction speed at the register, simplified coupon settlement and increased basket size.
The service offers a personalization and targeting system that sounds like AdWords. Zavers may help Google to socialize shopping further.
