Google Launches Single Word Translation Application!

translate_beta_res.gifThe official Google blog announces the new single word translation application through which we can get translations for just one single word. Besides, it also gives phrases and many possible meanings that the word might have.

With Google's translations "if you want to know how to say "play" in Spanish, you can use the dictionary translation and learn that depending on the context it can be "jugar", "tocar", or "obra", among others. Another feature is of 'related language'." The translation application also informs that 'play' is also a word in German.

The languages on option currently are French, German, Italian, Korean and Spanish.

Thank you for posting a link to this resource. Google has made an effort to do more than simply attempt to find a word-for-word match in another language. This is much more practical when words have several meanings. It is also an easy application to use.
