Have you got an email recently from Google telling you, that you need to link your Google Analytics account with your Google AdWords account. Well, the mail seems to be an authentic notification as Google too has set up a help page explaining the issue, and how to link your Google Analytics account to your AdWords account?
We got the email as well and it says:
"Hello,
It's come to our attention that your AdWords account has not been properly linked with your Google Analytics account. If you do not link your accounts by March 5, 2008, we cannot ensure that your data from AdWords will continue to populate in your Analytics account.
It's fast and simple to link both accounts. Please review the various scenarios below and follow the instructions that best suits your needs."
Apparently, there's less than a month to do that. A member at the forums reports that he got the email on both the accounts. Were his accounts already linked then? Perhaps that needs to be investigated.
The discussion continues at: Search Engine Watch.

I did not received an e-mail like this yet. Perhaps the European advices will come earlier.
Most project I do not link with Analytics, I really have the idea that rankings are influenced by this. Also, perhaps, the quality and price of shown AdSense.
Great post. Will definitely help small businesses in their execution of adwords. As a web analytics consulting company, we also use a tool called Crazy Egg. It generates heatmaps for free to help decipher click distribution.
