Bill Slawski has written about Google Local Search Glossary, as reported by Matt Cutts. One month back Slawski had mentioned in the post to 10 Likely Elements of Google’s Local Search Algorithm, writing about glossary of terms.
Many of the terms in the glossary has been explained in simplest language. According to Bill Slawski the glossary has been taken from several Google patent fillings on local search and is a collection of definitions and terms related to it.
