If you find your Google+ photographs at unexpected places, we might have an explanation for it. Google’s community manager Abby announced on the Google Product Forums that people who are sharing their photos publicly and have location data on the photos within Google+ may find their photos within Photo Sphere and Google Views.

Some of you may also find your photos on Google Maps for making the map more comprehensive and useful for other users. If you wish to expand your collection you can directly go to Google Views and import or upload new photos.
