Google has announced the addition of location sharing features to Google Maps application. The addition will let users share "pin-point" or "city-level" locations & filter out the connections that can see their location by selecting Google+ circles.

Google has also released Google+ for Android updates with new features. These include:

  • Users can switch between Google+ accounts with a few taps. This won't require the user to sign out of one account to sign in to another. Any of the Google+ pages that are being managed by the user will be available on the app menu, all times
  • A photo or video saved in user's Google Drive can be seen and shared from Google+ through an Android device or web
  • Google+ has made it possible for businesses to share content with people in the organization only to anyone within a user's circles. Moreover, the profile of the user is now capable of identifying if a person is the part of the Apps domain

The Messenger will not be available from Google+ mobile apps and users will have to use the Hangouts feature.
