Google has given a big speed boost to certain aspects of mobile search. In a latest blog "Making your mobile search faster", team Google is talking about the two new features it has just introduced.
Mobile search will get more refined and faster with the new feature that will enable users to see expandable site links for many websites in search results. These expansions will help you in quickly getting to a specific section. For example, if you want to check out Rotten Tomatoes for a new movie, you might not want to browse through different Rotten Tomatoes pages to find the list of top movies you might want to watch with friends. The quick mobile search will provide you links for "In Theatres" underneath the main Rotten Tomatoes link on your mobile phone.
Another introduction is the "Quick view" badge that will appear next to a few results. For example, if you are new to poker or just need a quick refresh on hands – all you have to do is search for "poker hands" and you will see a "quick view" blue badge to see the Wikipedia page listing the poker hands within a fraction of seconds.
As a note, Quick view is still an experimental feature and is currently enabled for Wikipedia pages, when you search in English on Google.com.Google Mobile Search Gets Even Faster with the New Enhancements!,
