With Apple releasing product refreshes and Microsoft releasing Windows 7, how could Google remain behind in announcing updates. After introducing 3D building maker this month, Google has now come up with 4 slight changes in Maps, Custom Search and many more fields.
Here's an insight:
- A new version of AdWords API has been introduced that include asynchronous calls, location extensions preview, keyword and placement ideas.
- Now smartphone and higher-end devices can use Custom Search features as it has gone mobile. Google has said that it will host your mobile-optimized custom search pages or you can host it on the mobile site yourself.
- Layers for Blackberry users have been introduced by Google Maps for mobile.
- The enterprise search server called Google Search Appliance has released an update that includes Self-Learning Scorer.
