Google account settings, which was due for a revamp for a long time has finally received a new interface. All the settings and data are now grouped into broader categories with tabs at the top instead of branch of settings that were earlier listed at the left.

The new categories are:

  • Personal info
  • Security
  • Data tools
  • Language

The group of settings on each tab is displayed in card interface, which is found in Android & Google products since 2012. The new layout for desktop web settings is again very clean and underneath it hides a long list of options we all are familiar with. Click on "Edit notifications settings" and you will notice the change.
