Google has released a completely redesigned version of the AdWords Editor. This Editor now provides support for many bulk editing features which have been recently included in the web interface. The new Google AdWords Editor also has induced a new functionality and utility to the desktop tool.

The new version of the AdWords Editor was announced in a livestream which was hosted by AdWords VP, Jerry Dischler recently. AdWords Product Manager, Geoff Menegay, was quoted as having said AdWords Editor 11.0 “represents the biggest update to the application since we released it in 2006.″ This version has a newer look and it is quicker than its previous avatars.

Open Out Numerous Windows in One Go

Though this change seems minor on the surface, it is actually a massive modification for productivity. Rather than jumping between campaign tabs and different types of accounts on a separate basis, users can now open several windows in one go. You can copy and paste as well as use drag and drop functionality between windows using this new version.

Better Search As Well As Type Lists

A new type lists panel and enhanced advanced search are on their way to make it simple to check what one is searching for within the accounts.

Numerous filtering and multiple search criteria have been included in advanced search along with the feature to be able to save searches.

Bulk Editing Plus Shared Library

This recent more advanced multi-select tool enables users to post multiple ads plus keywords across a multitude and blend of ad groups and campaigns simultaneously rather than pasting one by one.

Shared library parts are coming into Editor. Moreover bid strategies and site-links can be enhanced across the campaigns and ad groups. Users hope for more such as negative keyword lists, placement exclusion lists and more. Other new features also include undo and redo buttons in new avatar and keyboard shortcuts too.

Version 11 is now available for international downloads and older versions will not receive support after April 2, 2015. Also part of the livestream is the launch of the app engagement ads for search.
