Google Panda refresh 4.2 is here. It is slow and Google says, the complete update can take months to fully roll out. It means that its impact on the site may not be visible immediately. Though Panda is a site-wide algorithm, not all pages of the website are visible in a single go.

It has been almost 10 months for the last Panda refresh. It was on September 25, 2014.

Few webmasters have been able to pick the update because of the slow pace. According to Google, Panda refresh has impacted about 2-3% of English language queries. Like all Panda updates, it brings in new opportunities for some, while new penalty for others.

The new Panda rollout is a good news for the webmasters whose website was penalized by Panda in the last update. Now, they have the chance to make the right changes and go up in Google rankings. They need to gear up and determine the changes that are required on the website.

In terms of pace, this Panda refresh is quite different from the previous ones that caused sharp increase or decrease in Google traffic.
