In the latest announcement, Google has revealed that it will be adding Reviews tab into Google Places, which will let business owners see all their customer reviews at one place. Along with this, business owners will be able to respond to all the reviews directly from the new Reviews tab.

Here's an excerpt from Google's announcement:

“Today, we’re introducing Reviews in Google Places for Business. Now you can learn what your customers are saying about your business on Google and across the web, in one place. If you have a verified business listing, you will now see your customer ratings and reviews in the easy-to-use review inbox”.

With the update, Google is making it more appealing for businesses to verify themselves and also encouraging customers to leave reviews. The Places for Business service also has a basic analytics feature that helps in tracking how the reputation of a business has changed over time.

The newly introduced Reviews tab pulls the data from Google properties and around the web, which makes it the most comprehensive tool for online reputation management available in the market.

  • Spook SEO

Google never fails to amuse us with its ability to work with search.
They are really commendable. Both the SEOs and the users are happy with what
they are doing. They just have to be a little more consistent with their rules.
If they will allow this on a site, then, it should be allowed on every single
    website.
