Google+ Pages will now have a new Communication Manager role. The announcement was made by John Kilcline, Product Manager at Google.

Kilcline in his post said that anyone who is selected as a Communication Manager for a Google+ Page can post content, reply to followers, and also use the Communities & Events features. The person will however not be able to edit pages, managers, or connected YouTube channels.

Explaining the purpose of the new role Kilcline said, "Many brands and businesses have employees who focus on audience engagement – from posting content, to answering questions, to just keeping things fun. Such people are critical for connecting with followers, but they don’t need full access to a page’s online presence."

You can assign the role of Communication Manager from the "Managers" tab on the Google+ Dashboard.
