The wait is finally over! Since its launch and going public, now, Google+ has now finally opened its doors and is ready to welcome businesses on board. Businesses can now have their own commercial pages, on Google+ now, and use the platform to connect to fans.
As Google is quoted, “Now businesses are being welcomed in, through the new Google+ Pages program. Beginning today, and rolling out over the next two days, businesses will be able to create Google+ pages for themselves, using the Create A Page tool and assuming you already have a regular Google+ account.”
This video by Google explains the page creation tool:

Google+ Pages And Google Places Pages Not Connected:
At the moment, Google+ pages cannot be linked with the Places page. Google is clear on the differenct purposes of these pages. While Google+ page is for the brands to find their fans and interact with them, the Google Places page is for searchers who are looking for a place, maps and reviews.
