Search Google+

If the posts are 'limited' then they will not show up in search results.

The second way is to go to chrome and set up a custom search engine. Go to the URL- chrome://settings/searchEngines. Then add new entry with following values-

(To Search in posts)

  • Column 1: Google+ Posts
  • Column 2: post
  • Column 3: {google:baseURL}search? inurl:posts/* %s

(Search for profiles)

  • Column 1: Google+ Profiles
  • Column 2: profile
  • Column 3: {google:baseURL}search?q=%s&tbs=prfl:e

How To Unmute A Post On Google+
So, you did not like the notifications you kept getting from the million comments that were happening on the post. So you muted the post. And now you have had a change of heart and you want to hear what others are saying on the post, and you need to unmute the post.

Muting A post

Well, how do you know a post is muted- it is pretty easy to spot as a muted post has a red “Muted” by the post name line. More importantly, you will need to go to the profile of the person that originally posted the post. Find the post on their news feed and click on the drop down menu. In the drop down menu, select “Unmute this post.”

How To Hide The People You Have Added To Circles/Have You In Their Circles:
So, you do not want people to know who all you are connected to? Well Google+ allows you the choice of this privacy. This is how you can stop people from accessing your Circles.

Hide Circles

This is how you can do this-

Go To Profile–> Edit Profile–>Click on Circles Section–> Control Visibility Of Circles

Hide Circles

You can do this right down to the individual circle level. On finishing the editing, hit the Save button and get out of the Profile by clicking on Finished Editing.
