Google+ Allows Users to Add Interactive Polls to PostsGoogle has introduced a polling feature for for its social network Google+. The feature would let members create polls with up to five choices and brush them up with the photos uploaded from the social network.

The feature will first be rolled out for Android devices and thereafter for Apple's iOS mobile OS in a few days.

Members can use the polls to explore the opinion of friends and followers to settle the burning issues of their generation.

This is a feature that Facebook withdrew from users in 2012 and Pages last year. ‘Ask Question’ polling feature of Facebook is available on Facebook Groups and access is available to some major media partners as well. The lack of feature was something several small business owners complained about.

When eliminating polling for Pages, Facebook termed the feature redundant and stated that all Pages needed to create the same experience was by asking questions and getting answers in comments.

Google+ is sure to draw acclaim for an extra interactive feature that has a clear demand. The addition of poll has bolstered the social network’s offerings.

Google had announced last month that it had acquired the online polling startup Polar. The development can be presumed the basis for the new Google+ feature.
