The official Google Blog recently announced that Google is using TV to promote its Chrome browser. Currently, these ads are being run through Google TV Ads network, which allows advertisers to purchase a portion of the ad space on a variety of television networks.

Here's a video of the Google Ad promoting Chrome browser:

Over the past few years, Google has been promoting its product through wide range of mediums such as, billboards, radio ads, bus wraps and more. Now, it has finally entered into the final frontier, TV ads.

It is the first time that Google has directly advertised its products on television in the US. These ads also mention in conjunction Google partners, such as T-Mobile to promote its “G1 with Google” Android phone.

The Google TV Ads campaign has been designed using some of the results from our placement-targeted ads on the Google Content Network. These ads is expected to raise awareness about Chrome browser as well as help Google better understand how television can supplement their online media campaigns.
