Do you keep spamming Google repeatedly? Beware now! Google will now take manual and automated actions against sites who continuously violate its webmaster guidelines.

Shedding lights on its Webmaster Guidelines, Google, through one of its posts at Webmaster Central blog, revealed how website owners go through the process of:

  • Doing submission of a reconsideration request
  • Rectifying what caused to the penalties
  • Getting hit with manual penalties
  • Having the penalty violated
  • Going on to spam again

The Search Quality Team at Google further explained the most subtle changes by saying:

“For example, a webmaster who received a Manual Action notification based on an unnatural link to another site may nofollow the link, submit a reconsideration request, then, after successfully being reconsidered, delete the nofollow for the link.”

The over and over again violation can make it harder for website owners to earn further reconsideration.

If Google comes to know that repeat violations are being made deliberately for the purpose of spamming only, the site may have to face further harder actions from Google.
