After announcing its collaboration with Nokia, Google now further strengthening the bond has come up with special features specially for Nokia Smartphones. The official Google Mobile blog reported that from today onwards, the Nokia N-series and E-series users can download a small search shortcut directly to their phone's homescreen.

Once the users have the shortcut installed on the phone, they will then be able to bring up a Google search box and that also without having to open the browser. The user can directly type in a query and get straight to the results. It more or less would be saving a lot of time for the users. As the application is said to reduce the average time to complete an initial search by 40%.You can download the application here at Google Mobile.

Do view the video as well to see how fast it gets with the new add on and tell us about it.
