After Related Searches filter, Google has now dropped Instant Previews from the search results which are said to be a very low usage.

The Instant Previews feature was launched in November 2010. It was also tested with AdWords Instant Previews and Sitelinks Instant Previews. There was even a feature in Webmaster tools to preview instant previews. Google even said that with Instant Previews feature, searchers were 5% more likely to be satisfied after they clicked on the results.

Google's Jessica said that the feature was removed due to "very low usage" and also said that removing the feature further streamline searches. Here's an extract of what Jessica explained in the Google Web Search Help forums:

“As we've streamlined the results page, we've had to remove certain features, such as Instant Previews.

Instant previews saw very low usage by our users, and we've decided to focus on streamlining the page to benefit more users.”

Google has also changed how users access the "cached" page and share results. You will see a down green arrow containing the "cached" link and "similar" link, when applicable. In case you are logged in, you will also see a "share" link to share the results on Google+.
