Google and the term “experiments†are going side by side these days!
According to Search Engine Land, Google is testing a web search result style that will now allow the users to straightaway jump to a part of a page, that means to an anchor within a page!
In the screen shot, the link text within “Jump to BUYING PROPERTY†is likely taken from the part of the page itself and pointing to
“http://… tripod.com/monorules.htm#buyingpropertyâ€.
This means that now users can search for relevant content rather than surfing each and every search result on the search engine! But it can prove to be a hurdle especially for those advertisers who are keen to place diverse ads in positions that would now be skipped by the users because of their irrelevant content. Let's see what happens next!
