AdSense Publishers can monetize mobile traffic as Google is rolling out mobile anchor ads. These ads will appear as 320×50 banners at the bottom of the smartphone screen the user. The ad will remain anchored even when the user will scroll up or down.

The AdSense ads are dismissed when the user swipes left or right on the ad. Though, arrow icons will be present on either side of the ad, it is still too early to predict how intuitive swiping across would be if somebody wants to remove an ad.

If the ad is dismissed once by the user, it will not appear again till the user reloads the page or visit another page of that website. The ads are designed in a way that they will not affect the mobile page load times.

Google has enabled the feature for a selected group of publishers but will be making it available to all AdSense publishers in the coming months.
