Google has yet again established its supremacy with the beta launch of a new Google shopping program, referred to as “Google Shopping for Suppliers”. After the successful relaunch of Google Shopping in 2012, a product search engine that helps people discover products online, Google has now launched Google Shopping for Suppliers to bridge the gap between buyers and sellers of B2B products.
This program enables buyers to find B2B products with ease as well as get in touch with the suppliers to negotiate price and make purchases. As of now, this program only features listings of electrical and electronic products.
The key features of Google-Shopping for Suppliers are
i. Supplier Verification:
Notice the blue G seal before the name of some of the suppliers? Google is verifying suppliers to increase trust for buyers. In simple words Google has setup a paid verification test and the suppliers who pass this test get the seal. The verification of suppliers helps the buyers in knowing for sure that the information provided by the supplier is true.
ii. How to register?
To register as a Supplier one needs to visit Google Shopping for Suppliers and enter the details of Google account. Next, create a company profile and then list the products for sale. To know more about the registration and listing process View here!
