Starting today, Google will be rolling-out brand new Paid & Organic report in AdWords, which will give advertisers at-a-glance insights into query performance.

A query performance will appear when:

  • An ad is shown
  • An organic listing is displayed
  • Both ad & organic results are shown

Advertisers will also see the click and impression data side-by-side. This will make it easier for them to analyze how organic & paid search is impacting each other.

Advertisers with an AdWords account will be able to use the report but they are not required to actively run an ad, as the organic reporting will still be displayed.

Since the organic data is pulled from Webmaster Tools, advertisers who are not using Google Analytics will also be able to take advantage of the report. Link your AdWords and Google Webmaster Tools accounts to use the new paid & organic report.
