SiliconRepublic.com reports  that Google has claimed that the click fraud estimates are exaggerated and these are less than 10%. At a press briefing in Dublin, Shuman Ghosemajumder, business product manager for trust and safety at Google said, "Some firms appear to make the problem larger than it is."

Ghosemajumder added that some advertisers focus on return on investment from online advertisements and if there is unexplained drop they blame it on click fraud. He says, "The total number of invalid clicks on average is in the single digits, quarter over quarter."
