We had informed our users yesterday, that there were numerous reports of delays in Google AdWords and Google AdSense reports which was leading to incorrect data. However, now Google says, that it has fixed the issue.
In a post on Google Groups, Stephanie explains, "Hi everyone, This reporting issue has now been fixed, so you should now see all of your missing data from yesterday in your account. (We've also reflected this update on our Known Issues page at https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=92365.) I'll leave this thread pinned to the top of this category for another day, to make sure more forum members see this update.
Thank you all again for your continued patience, and our team sincerely apologizes for the delay."
However, this post didn't even get close to pacify the publishers. After Stephanie's post, most of the publishers reported that nothing has changed in their reports, which would simply suggest that the problem is still very intact. Some of the post from the publishers at Google Groups:
"Is this really fixed?
My statistics for May 06 and May 07 show a decline in page impressions, clicks and earnings by ca. 30-50% w/o any apparent reason."
"Same problem for us also…this is happening very frequently…may be all UK users having this issue. And also phone verifications also not working."
I think the problem is not resolved on my end. My earnings are ridiculously low since this weekend.
I emailed Adsense and had no response so far."
"I think it wasn't resolved .. because I still have the same ridiculous
4 clicks !!!
I should have by now 15-20"
Yes, I noticed lower earnings on (obviously May 6th), May 7th and now on May 8th they also appear less than what they usually are. I am not angry at Google (as some folks appear to be), but I hope this is something Google will eventually fix."
