It seems that recently there has been a massive drop in PageRank scores in Google Toolbar. Diverse forums are arrayed with numerous complaints where webmasters are noticing a drop in their PageRank scores…
Have a look at these forums:

All are filled with various accusations, annoyances and complaints that their toolbar PageRank scores have dropped, many dropped to zero.. Ofcourse, no one wants to be at a negative end after doing all kinds of efforts to boost their website all over the year. Here is one snippet from a thread that sums up the whole issue:
'Definitely a shift in whats in and whats out, i'm seeing some duplicate pages in the serp's indented duplicates at that, the first of these has a cache date of over a year and the indented results has a cache date of a few days.
Some of the pages that i witnessed drop out of there serp's on the 23rd Dec are suffering from this issue but not all, i'm assuming at the moment that this was the problem for those web pages, still seeing some funky page totals return for some very competitive search terms first page displaying 25 mil results return but if you dig deeper there are only 500 pages before the "omitted results" link comes up.'
Are you facing the same problem?

i hav seen people complaining about this in some forums too. thankfully now m working with a new blog, so no question of pr drop for me
My pr has been 2 for the past year and I am hoping it will one day increase. I would be devastated if it dropped to zero one day but pr is not the king. only a minor issue
