On its YouTube Creator Blog, Google has announced an update to YouTube comments to address the spammy comments. According to the blog, the system is updated to recognize bad links and impersonation attempts in a better way. ASCII art detection is also improved and changes have been made in how long comments are displayed.

No discussion has been made about Google+ Integration Backlash. Google however said that it was, "Excited to see more of you getting involved". It was also revealed that creator requests for bulk moderation tools will be released soon.
