One of the latest reports indicates that Google has finally won the domain names at the World Intellectual Property Right Organisation (WIPO) against two Indian firms.

Google, had filed a complained against Sudam Chakraborty and Thilak Raj, owners of the two Indian firms, stating that they have been robbed its trade name for commercial purposes. Both the defendants had used respective domain names "googlehrd.com" and "mygooglemoney.com".

The final decision was taken by Christian Schalk, sole panelist in both the cases. He said that “both the domain names were registered in "bad faith" and the Indians running their commercial interests through them had no right over the trade name "Google", which was used to confuse internet users.”

This decision was taken under Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) after both the complainee failed to fulfil the requirements of the notice sent to them by the Geneva-based arbitration tribunal.
