Google has a great news for webmasters. The Webmaster Academy which was introduced in March 2012, goes live in 22 different languages. This was announced on the official Webmaster Central Blog yesterday.

New or beginner webmasters who speak different languages can now easily learn the fundamentals on how to make a great site, how to rank really well in search results and also learn how to provide an enjoyable user experience. The best part is that the Webmasters can learn all this and more in their own language.

Google has said that if Webmasters think that they are familiar with these topics, they can take the quizzes which are given at the end of each module. This way they can prove how well do they know about the topics.

Thus, Webmasters can give Webmaster Academy a read in their preferred language. Google has also asked for feedback on this version, by adding remarks in the comments or help forum. The search engine giant mentioned that it hopes that Webmasters will find the easy to read guide helpful as well as fun to read.

  • This was rather underwhelming.. When the teaser about great update to Webmaster Academy came I was excited to a possibility of new content, maybe some certification or something. A translate to new languages isn't a big deal at all. Sure some will find it useful but it doesn't do anything for people that already used it. Disappointed…
