Here comes the third tip on the third day of Google’s #GoogleRecon week. It is about removing inorganic backlinks.

GoogleRecon Week Tip 3: Remove Inorganic Backlinks

Google says, “For a reconsideration request to be successful, a significant percentage of inorganic links should be removed from the website. If you can get a backlink removed, remove the link instead of adding it to the disavow file. Simply disavowing links will not be enough to make a reconsideration request successful.”

Rather than removing just those inorganic backlinks which you fear Google might have discovered, remove all of them that have a paid link profile, no matter you bought them or not and stay at the safer side.
