Speculations were on about a new Google update having been rolled out in the past week and now it has been confirmed by the search engine giant. In a Tweet Google’s Head of Anti-Spam team- Matt Cutts said that there has been an algorithm rolled out which will better the ‘diversity’ of search results regarding the various domains returned.
Now this update will obviously draw attention to the discussions happening of late about same domain pages dominating the search results- where the listings for a search term are from the same website. PageTraffic Buzz also wrote about it.
Do you think the latest algo roll out is to correct this occurrence? We are keeping an eye out for any updates on the same. Do share any info you have on this.
