Google has launched a new Android application that will let marketers manage Google Places for Business listing on-the-go. Business information such as contact details, hours of operation, and description can be updated. Moreover, marketers can add posts & photos to Google+ Local Pages, +1 a post, respond to comments, and do everything else related to the maintenance of Google+ Local page.

Any change made within the application will be updated across Google Maps, search results, and Google+ Local. The app has in-built basic analytics data, which will enable the tracking of how these changes are affecting the engagement.

The application is going to be useful for businesses that prefer to maintain an active Google Places listing.
