Google has got a news for you, and not one but a twin surprise. On Tuesday, Google announced the launch of two new services, one is Google Code Search and the other one is Google Blog Search Pinging Service. Good, but what do they mean?

Google Code Search will serve as a common platform for programmers to search publicly accessible source code. This service is a part of long list of Google product that were launched for developers, previous year, which were Google Mps API v2, Google Calendar API, Google Web Toolkit, Google AJAX Search API, Google Checkout API, project hosting on Google Code, Google Base API, and Google Gadgets for Your Page.

And as far as Google Blog Pinging is concerned, it is a blogers platform providers to update Google regarding the change in content. Blogging providers syndicating RSS/Atom/ XML and wished to be apart of Google Blog Search index  can directly ping Google.
