Google Groups team launched a new beta version making it available to anyone and everyone at groups-beta.google.com. Using this product, the group owners can now create a welcome message, upload a group logo and customize fonts and colors. Instead of offering rigid templates, it has been integrated with many of the functions of the Google Page Creator right into the Groups, thus enabling you to create according to the demand and requirements of your group, which can be, an essay for school, your family history, a web page with photos, a list of links and many more such features. Some of the major improvements are:
- Using Gmail's message cards for discussions, making them easier to flow.
- Adding a file section so that users can share and collaborate on documents.
