i dont know how to change my google classic home page(add picture or theme)!!!!!!!!!!!does enybodynow how???

Does anybody know how to force my homepage to exclusively be Google classic? If I put in the URL from the iGoogle page which swaps back to Classic, then if I ever go to iGoogle and then click what I though was go to Classic Homepage, it takes me back to iGoogle. How on earth do I force a turnoff of iGoogle?
