How does Google rank websites? There will be a million answers to the question. But how does Google rank videos which are hosted on it’s own servers? And suddenly there are none. 

Here is a video of Hunter Walk, a product manager at Google Video. Hunter elaborates on what Google depends upon when ranking a video. Walk says that Google puts emphasises metadata provided by the creator of the video as well as the data provided by the community to offset misleading video data. Watch interview with walk here.
