Google's Webmaster Blog has announced a "freshly baked batch" of video tutorials that are offered by Matt Cutts.
Till date, Google has published over 375 videos to their YouTube Google Webmaster Help Channel. Wherein, the usual shorter length videos, of roughly a couple of minutes, only answered direct questions from the webmasters, are now being replaced by videos which are longer. The main aim of these videos will now be to offer tutorials about important topics that are webmaster related.
Here's the first video, which deals with all important question that almost every webmaster wonders about; if there is a limit to the number of 301 redirects at Google.
In this, 4:30 minute long video, Matt explained in detail how the 301 redirect procedure is received by the Google.
He affirmed that there is no limitation to the number of redirects from your old site to the new permanent site. However, he does recommend not to exceed over 3 hops in a redirect.
