Google's Wireless Advertising Patent Applications Are Out

Google has been working with San Francisco to provide wireless access to people. Now, it has been speculated that Google will bring this facility to other places too. There are some other aspects which need attention like how to pay for the access.
 
Recently an article discussed a Google Patent application. This application describes a way of advertising through wireless access. Well, we are talking about three patent applications from Google which involve Google, wireless access, and advertising.
 
Here are the abstracts from three patent applications:
 
1. The first one focuses upon providing Wireless access.
 
Methods and system to provide advertisements in a view of an end user accessing a wireless access point. The advertisements are related to  WAP based on a predetermined criterion.

 
2. The second one focuses in some detail on integrating advertising into the service.
 
Methods and system to provide advertisements in a view of an end user accessing a wireless access point. The advertisements are related to WAP based on a predetermined criterion.
 
3. This last one looks at how branding can be done in conjunction with providing wireless access.
 
In one embodiment, a connection of a client device to a wireless access point is identified. Further, the appearance of a screen presented on the client device is modified to reflect the brand associated with a provider of the wireless access point.
