Google has released a brand new way of advertising for hotels. It is not yet named officially by the company but he media has labeled it as “hotel ads” and users have one more reason to be delighted. This new advertisement tool is the latest in Google Maps listing for hotels. You can find this “hotel ads” feature if you are searching for hotels using Google Maps, Google Places and Gmail.

With this advertising mechanism, you can get the price per night for the hotels you are searching for. If you click on the price that is provided, you can see the competing rates from CPC advertisers. By clicking on those CPC advertisers' rates you can finally go to their site, get more information and book a reservation.

Nothing more has been revealed by the company yet. However, one thing they have stated over and over is that this yet unnamed (“hotel ads”) advertising program will not change the existing organic ranking of any affiliated properties in Google Maps or elsewhere. You can anticipate more detailed update soon regarding areas that are covered or not by this advertisement, estimated rates and probably a name as well.
