Research firm eMarketer projected a growth of 37.4 percent in the number of social network users in India in 2013. Adding more to the revelation, eMarketer said that if the country maintains the similar rate, it is likely to have the largest Facebook population globally by 2016.

eMarketer has also cited Mexico and Indonesia as the countries where the number of users of the social network are growing with the rate of 28.17 percent and 21.1 percent respectively, in 2013.
