The Live broadcasting tool of Google, Hangouts on Air has received Live Q&A update that will let users ask questions during a Live Hangout on Air session.

Google+ Hangouts on Air is a popular way of broadcasting live to millions of users. In order to improve the participation of audience during live broadcasts, Google introduced Live Q&A. 

Broadcasters will now be able to take questions from viewers, select, and give answer to the questions live. The questions can later be marked as answered and it will be timestamped in the YouTube recording. The questions will be later on available in the comments field & can use the timestamp to find them.

In addition to this, viewers can ask questions and also vote on the questions they think should be answered.

Google will be rolling out the Live Q&A feature over the next few days on desktop and view-only on Android.
