If you think that internal website links with exact match keyword anchor text will hurt the ranking of your website, the latest Google Webmaster Help video of Matt Cutts is for you.

The internal website links are believed to help users navigate properly on the website. Too many links with same anchor text are however not going to result in a ranking downgrade.

Matt Cutts tells that typically internal website links are not going to cause any sort of trouble for your website ranking. But, if you have 5000 links, you need to think over it again.

Normal, analog sites with a regular template & breadcrumbs aren’t affected at all. Cutts added, “We understand that because of breadcrumbs, navigation, and internal structure, a bunch of links that say the same thing are pointed to the same page. But, as long as they are on the same domain, your website ranking will remain unaffected”.

Google expects you to have same links, as long as you have a template and many pages.
