MIVA has launched the MIVA Monetization Center which enables webmasters and publishers different options to monetize their website. The new pay per click service actually comprises of three different kinds of ads on their site. These are:

Content Ads:
This contextual ads score over similar offerings from Google and Yahoo! by offering the publishers an option to specify keywords for placement of relevant ads.

MIVA InLine Ads:
This is a new way of displaying ads which uses terms in the page content as hyperlinks to ads which will appear when user hovers the mouse over the term or phrase. Publishers have the choice to decide on pages. Thery can also manually tweak the look, the sections of page to include and even the properties of the pop-up window.

Search Ads:
These are ads displayed on SERPs in response to relevant keywords.

The real test would be the InLine Ads which are sure to irritate the readers with more intrusive and possibly, deceptive, advertising. As in it is time to stop taking a hyperlinked keyword as a link to wikipedia or other helpful resources.
