Moz has published the results of their insightful 2015 Online Marketing Industry Survey on search marketing. Based on the responses from over 3,600 online marketers, the report helps dig deep into the available data.

Highlights from the survey are:

  • 81% of search market agency respondents reported providing both SEO and SEM services
  • 49% of are in-house search marketers
  • 36% worked with more than 20 clients in the past year
  • 85% involved with content marketing
  • Google Search Console leading search marketer tool used by 87%, followed by Bing Webmaster Tools preferred by 43%
  • Google Alerts and Google Trends are the top content tools
  • Google Analytics leads in analytics used by 91%; 23% using Crazy Egg
  • Facebook Insights (58%) most popular social tool
