Moz has released the Industry Survey 2014 Results, listing the top strategies, salaries, and tools. Over 3700 people participated in this year's industry survey and the data was analyzed by Resident Marketing Scientist of Moz: Dr. Pete Meyers.
Moz has been tracking the demographic makeup of professions in the online marketing industry for several years. The survey this year too revealed an increase in the number of women working in this field. This year, the number of female rose from 20.7% in 2010 to 28.3%.
The survey also examined the salary of the professionals. Here's the graphic of the median salary shown by role of the respondents across the world.
Tools and Strategies in 2014
The survey has targeted both: shifting tactics & tools that inbound marketers are using to perform a job. This year, Moz was curious to know how these marketers deal with the keywords, as their prevalence has expanded to more than 75% worldwide.
