As informed by the WebmasterWorld thread, Google AdWords has already added 'currency indicator', a special feature for its non-U.S. based advertisers. It is used to denote which currency is used by the user, while billing.

For example, the Canadian advertisers now find the word, 'CAN' near their numbers, while the Australian advertisers will find an 'A' before their currencies. But, one member has already made a complaint regarding this new interface, "I'm not sure if this is only an international thing, but as of today the AdWords UI now shows "Can" in front of all figures that have money in them. AWA: This makes cutting and pasting and reading the UI REALLY HARD NOW. Please ask them if they can put it up at the top of the window as a permanent setting or something, it doesn't need to be stuck in front of all the dollar figures. Please pass this feedback along!"
